En 2014, U.S Border Patrol registró un total de 53,518
menores no acompañados entregados a familiares y/o
conocidos. Los estados con mayores registros de en-
trega fueron California (10.9%) y Texas (13.8%) en la
región Sudoeste; Nueva York (11.1%), Florida (10.2%),
Maryland (7.3%), Virginia (7.3%), entre otros, en la re-
giónde laCosta Este.
