Entre 2000 y 2013, los migrantes extranjeros que al-
canzaron el estatus de refugiado en México se redujo
90.0%. En 2008, se tuvo el nivel más bajo de protección
con 1,055 personas refugiadas en el país. En estemismo
periodo de tiempo, losmexicanos que solicitaron refugio
enel extranjeroaumentaronalrededor de600.0%, alcan-
zando cercade9,400 refugiadosen2013.

status of refugee inMexico fell by 90.0%. 2008was the

refugees in the country. Over the same period, Mexicans
seeking refuge abroad increased by around 600.0%,
