Tuesday, May 07, 2024	El Universal	México firma con Honduras y Guatemala un memorándum para proteger comunidades migrantes	En el marco de la Reunión Ministerial de la Declaración de Los Ángeles sobre Migración y Protección se firmó el instrumento que permitirá a los tres países compartir buenas prácticas y crear sinergias para brindar asistencia y protección a sus connacionales, a través de sus oficinas consulares, principalmente en Estados Unidos y Canadá, aunque su aplicación estará abierta a otras regiones del mundo. En relación con el período 2013–2018, representa un aumento de casi 58%, es decir unas 459.000 personas más. La mayor migración de mexicanos es hacia el norte: el 87,9% lo hizo a Estados Unidos y 6% a Canadá.
